Paperjam Club | Whistleblowing Directive: what practical impacts for employers?

We are interested in the various measures that will have to be implemented by employers to comply with the legislation. 

Following the adoption on 16 April 2019 of the Directive on the protection of individuals reporting breaches of EU law, employers will have to set up internal reporting channels and procedures. After recalling the material and personal scope of this new legislation, we will provide employers with a practical guide to react appropriately in the event of an alert and to comply with their obligations.

Objectives :

  • Understand the role and obligations of employers in the event of an alert
  • Identify the scope of whistleblower protection
  • Implement appropriate reporting procedures
