BSP is pleased to announce for 2018 the promotion of a senior counsel and two senior associates, confirming the importance for the firm of supporting internal growth and retaining outstanding legal talents:
Christèle Pierre-Alexandre, appointed senior counsel, is regular advisor to private equity houses on structuring and financing of international buy-out transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, merger & acquisition as well as corporate governance matters. She has assisted worldwide groups on ongoing activities carried out through their Luxembourg entities and certain other major corporate reorganisations with cross-border insolvency issues. Prior to joining our firm, she worked as a legal advisor in another Luxembourg law firm and practiced in a "Big Four" firm.
Helen Liu Haijing, appointed senior associate, obtained her Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014. During her law school study, she interned in several international law firms in Beijing, Hong Kong and Dusseldorf (Germany). Helen’s activity is mainly focused on securitisation and capital markets transactions. She has also been involved in many leveraged financing transactions acting for large institutional lenders. Helen is also a member of the China Desk of BSP.
Audrey Risser, appointed senior associate, is concentrated in the counseling and litigation aspects of Luxembourg labour and employment matters. She frequently works on employment contracts, collective dismissals and unfair dismissals. As a litigator, she is also regularly involved in complex domestic and multijurisdictional disputes resolved by resolution, with a focus on competition, commercial and corporate matters.
“Our new senior counsel and senior associates have been rewarded to have embodied BSP’s philosophy of excellence and commitment to client services,” said Alain Steichen, Managing Partner of BSP. “We congratulate them for their professionalism and we know they will continue to achieve great goals in delivering exceptional service and strengthening our culture.”
