BSP is pleased to have once again participated in the clothing collection campaign organized by IMS Luxembourg - Inspiring More Sustainability in collaboration with Spëndchen a.s.b.l and Lëtz’ Refashion.
In November, our teams donated clothing that they no longer use directly at our offices. These clothes will be given a second life and redistributed locally by Spëndchen to support people in need.
Why it matters
The collection serves as an important reminder: if our wardrobes keep filling up, it’s a sign we may need to rethink our consumption habits.
The fashion industry is responsible for 2 to 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions and produces millions of tonnes of textile waste every year. In Europe, 80% of discarded textiles are buried or incinerated, even though more than half could still be worn. In Luxembourg, the equivalent of 95 T-shirts is thrown away every minute.
To reduce this impact: consume less, consume better, and adopt sustainable habits.
