The world is undergoing a period of unprecedented changes which are reshaping the wealth management industry in many respects. This is particularly true in Europe, where the EU is attempting to lead the way in regulatory reform and transparency but at the same time the departure of the UK is going to permanently reshape the continent’s geopolitics.
The third STEP Europe Conference is taking place in Luxembourg, the largest financial centre in the Eurozone and the second largest fund centre in the world.
An international panel of speakers, including academics, politicians, judges, and private practitioners, will share their views on the new “regulatory maze”, automatic exchange of information as well as beneficial ownership registers. A wide range of experts from all the countries in our region as well as the US will highlight cross-border topics. A special focus will be devoted to fintech, blockchain, and “how to avoid to be left behind”.
Amongst the speakers, Me Alain Steichen, will intervene on the "Luxembourg update" panel.
